TYPE W FLAT PORTABLE POWER CABLE - 2000 Volt, EPDM Insulation, CSPE Jacket, Rope Lay Copper Conductor, 90°C Dry, Wet

Type W cables are suitable for use in mobile mining equipment, lifting magnets, conveyors, drills and pumps, battery chargers, oil field power, as portable power and temporary power supply where grounded circuits are not required. The portable power cable is constructed of synthetic rubber (EPDM) insulation and heavy-duty chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSPE) jacket. The jacket may be applied in two layers depending upon application.

  • Excellent resistance to oils, solvents, ozone, aging, and abrasion
  • Sunlight resistant
  • Suitable for continued immersion in shallow water
  • Excellent electrical insulation with high thermal stability
  • Meets MSHA flame test requirements
  • Maximum continuous conductor temperature: 90°C DRY, 90°C WET
