FEP HIGH TEMPERATURE LEAD - 600 Volt, FEP Insulation, FEP Jacket, Stranded Single Conductor, 200°C Dry Location

FEP wire is a single conductor lead wire with resistance to moisture and fluid. The extruded fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) insulation and extruded fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) jacket allow the cable diameter to be 20-30% smaller than conventional cable. FEP offers optimum insulation for smaller applications at half the space of other cable constructions. FEP meets FDA Code 121.2555 requirements for appliances and machines used in food-contact applications.

  • Impervious to All Chemicals, Acids, Fuels, Solvents and Water
  • 20-30% Smaller Cable Diameter Than Conventional Cables
  • Mechanical toughness and low coefficient of friction of FEP fluoropolymer insulation allow pull installation of long wire lengths
  • High flexibility
  • Maximum continuous conductor temperature: 200°C DRY

  • FEP
Application: Heater elements, appliances, thermocouples, gas igniters, electrical/electronic/surgical instruments and other products up to 200ø C
