ARMORED TYPE MC-HL XHHW-2 POWER CABLE - 600 Volt, Aluminum Interlocked Armor, XLP Insulation, PVC Jacket, 90°C Dry, Wet Location

Type XHHW-2 building wire is designed for general-purpose wiring in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Meeting the Type XHHW-2 UL standard, the cable has a maximum operating temperature of 90°C in wet and dry locations. Rated at 600 volts, the cable is approved for use in accordance with the recommendations of the National Electrical Code.

    ARMORED TYPE AC POWER CABLE - 600 Volt, THHN Insulation, 90°C Dry Location

    Type AC cable consists of 2 to 4 copper conductors in sizes 14 gauge to 1 AWG inside an interlocked metal armor of steel or aluminum construction. A 16 AWG aluminum bonding wire is inside of, and in physical contact with, the metal armor providing a low-impedance fault-return path required for the operation of overcurrent protection devices. The bonding wire is unique to Type AC cable and allows the outer metal armor in conjunction with the bonding wire to be used as the equipment ground.

    ARMORED TYPE HCF WITH GROUND - HEALTH CARE FACILITIES - 600 Volt, THHN Insulation, 90°C Dry Location

    Type HCF is constructed in the same manner as standard Type AC cable with the addition of a green grounding conductor. This additional ground allows HCF to be used in patient care areas of health care facilities (other than hazardous locations or emergency circuits in a health care setting) including hospitals, nursing homes, dental offices and medical centers per NEC 517.13. Type AC cable consists copper conductors inside an interlocked metal armor of steel or aluminum construction. A 16 AWG aluminum bonding wire is inside of, and in physical contact with, the metal armor providing a low-impedance fault-return path required for the operation of overcurrent protection devices. The bonding wire is unique to Type AC cable and allows the outer metal armor in conjunction with the bonding wire to be used as the equipment ground.

    ARMORED TYPE MC-HL VARIBLE FREQUENCY DRIVE (VFD) POWER CABLE - 600/2000 Volt, Aluminum Interlocked Armor, XLP Insulation, PVC Jacket, Stranded Copper Conductor, 90°C Dry, 90°C Wet

    VFD cables are shielded, flexible motor supply cable for variable speed drives subject to non-linear power distortions. This cable is used to interconnect an AC variable frequency drive or control system, to an AC variable frequency motor. Variable Frequency AC motor drive output cables are subject to a harsh operating environment characterized by high voltage spikes, high noise levels and adverse environmental conditions. VFD cables were designed to overcome the shortcomings of unshielded tray cables, single conductor lead wire installed in conduit or continuously welded armored cable typically used in this application. This cable is constructed with crosslinked polyethylene (XLP) insulation and an UV and oil resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket.

    ARMORED TYPE TECK90 POWER CABLE - 1000 Volt, Armor, XLP Insulation, PVC Jacket, 90°C Dry, Wet Location

    Type TECK90 is an interlocked armoured cable for use in petro-chemical, pulp and paper, and other industrial application environments. TECK90 can be used in open and concealed wiring, direct burial, and in hazardous locations. The insulated conductors are made with cross-linked polyethylene and twisted with an uninsulated ground wire. The twisted core is covered with a PVC jacket, then covered with either interlocked aluminum or galvanized steel, and covered with a PVC jacket over the armour.
