FEP insulated wires are ideal for all kinds of electronic equipment, photocopiers and medical electronics. The extruded fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) insulation and extruded fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) jacket allow the cable diameter to be 20-30% smaller than conventional cable. FEP offers optimum insulation for smaller applications at half the space of other cable constructions. FEP meets FDA Code 121.2555 requirements for appliances and machines used in food-contact applications. The most frequently used specifications are MIL-W-16878 and civil engineering specifications.

    TYPE SRGK HIGH TEMPERATURE CONTROL CABLE - 600 Volt, Silicone Rubber Insulation, Polyester Binder Tape, Treated Fiberglass Braid Jacket, Stranded Single Conductor, 200°C Dry Location

    Type SRGK is constructed for use in high temperature applications as a multiple conductor control cable where resistance to abrasion and mechanical abuse are desired. This wire is widely used in steel and glass plants, as well as high temperature locations near boilers, steam lines and in chemical processing plants. Also used for internal wiring of electrical equipment.

    Type SRGS is constructed for use in high temperature applications as a multiple conductor control cable where flexibility and resistance to heat and flame are desired. This wire is used in robotic applications, as well as high temperature locations such as steel and glass plants and in power generating stations.

    TYPE SDN FLEXIBLE CONTROL CABLE - 600 Volt, Polymer/Nylon Insulation, Neoprene Jacket, Stranded Copper Conductor, 90°C Dry, 75°C Wet

    Small Diameter Flexible Control Cable is multiconductor UL listed Type TC cable consisting of stranded, uncoated annealed copper, insulated with a flame retardant polymer and nylon jacket, cabled together with fillers, as required, mylar tape wrapped, and jacketed overall with a black low temperature, flame resistant, neoprene. Designed for control, power, lighting, telemetering, signal, relay traffic control, wherever flexible, small diameter cable is required such as cranes, hoists, and some robotics applications. The cable can be used indoors or outdoors; in pendant, reeling and other flexing applications down to -55°C. This cable is constructed with high dielectric flame retardant polymer with a clear polyamide (nylon) jacket extruded over primary insulation and a heavy duty, flame and oil resistant arctic grade neoprene (PVC) jacket.

  • For installation in trays, raceways, troughs, channels, ducts, conduit, and by direct burial
  • Recommended for wet or dry locations and outdoors in cable trays where a sunlight resistant rating is required
  • Flame and oil resistant
  • Appropriate choice for tough flexing and reeling applications where mechanical ruggedness and small diameters are required
  • Temperature Range: 90°C to -55°C
