FAA-L-824 TYPE B AIRPORT LIGHTING CABLE - 5000 Volt, EPR Insulation, PVC Jacket, Single Conductor, 90°C Dry

FAA-L-824 Type B Airport Lighting Cable is for power transmission primarily for airport lighting and control circuits. The cables are suitable for use in conduit, duct, aerial, and direct burial applications. Single conductor cables have stranded, bare copper conductors; ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) insulation; and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) on shielded cable. Cable is rated 5,000 volts and meets the requirements of FAA L-824 Type B (FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5345-7E) and ICEA S-96-659 (NEMA WC 71) for unshielded and S-93-639 (NEMA WC 74) for shielded.

The cables are suitable for use in conduit, duct, aerial, and direct burial applications. Single and multiconductor cables are available having stranded, bare copper conductors; crosslinked polyethylene (XLP) insulation; and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) overall jacket on multiconductor cable. Cables are rated 600 volts and meet the requirements of FAA L-824 Type C (FAA Advisory Circular AC 150/5345-7E), ICEA S-95-658 NEMA WC 70.

    Type MV-90 cable is a single conductor cable having stranded, bare copper conductors with cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) insulation. The cable may be used as rugged cables in ducted 600 volt or 5000 volt series lighting circuits.

  • Suitable for use in conduit, and duct
  • 4, 6, and 8 AWG conductor cables are FAA approved
  • Direct bury in accordance with the FAA advisory circular 150/5345-7E and CSA Type ASLC certified
